Exhibiton: From the outside to the inside by Allsorts Collective

Strathnairn Arts Association Gullifer Street, Strathnairn, ACT, Australia

This exhibition will explore the relationship between public and private spaces through a series of works in acrylic, watercolour in and pastel. The exhibition will feature contrasting views of outside lives to personal interiors exploring the quiet sanctity of a home.
Shakir Rayman has always enjoyed drawing, sketching and painting. He has been exploring different mediums and has found his nook with acrylics. More recently he has been exploring impressionism with landscape.
Stephanie Boyle has been a member of the Allsorts Collective since they coalesced in around 2016. Before then, she undertook a variety of open art courses at Megalo Workshop and Canberra School of Art between 1999 and 2010, and attended sessions at Canberra Art Workshop (CAW), various Canberra based sketch clubs and the Artist Society of Canberra art group. Stephanie has also provided the design work for several corporate and private functions including local musicians. With the Allsorts, she has developed her interest in landscape, still life and animal portraiture.
Louise Spencer has attended numerous art workshops covering various techniques, media and genres. She is currently studying Art History and Curatorship through a Bachelors Degree at the Australian National University.
Katie Volter is largely self taught, but she has also undertaken several open art courses, including at the Brisbane Institute of Art, the Canberra Institute of Technology and short courses provided by the Artists’ Society of Canberra.
