The Ginninderry JV are working with SEE Change to incorporate the Ginninderry Tool Library into the Community Toolbox Canberra.

The Tool Library has been relocated to Gullifer Street in preparation for its opening!

19 June 2026William Hovell Drive Duplication – Pedestrian access changes

To enable construction works to proceed safely, from Monday 29 June 2026 there will be no pedestrian access at the current roundabout on William Hovell Drive, Drake-Brockman Drive and Kingsford Smith Drive. View full update from Infrastructure Canberra which outlines pedestrian detour information.

1 May 2026Parkwood Rd Connection & Offsite Works – Macnamara Neighbourhood 02 – Construction Commenced

Construction is now underway on the Parkwood Road connection. As part of these works, a number of trees along the Parkwood Road / Southern Cross Drive corridor are being removed to allow construction to proceed.

Where possible, larger trees are being carefully transported to the Ginninderry Conservation Corridor, where they will provide valuable woodland habitat and ecological benefits. As part of the project, over 400 new trees will be planted, ensuring long-term environmental benefits for the local landscape and community.

It is anticipated that there may be some disruptions to the entry into Macgregor as the construction progresses. A further update will be provided on this in due course.

We appreciate the community’s patience during this time and will provide further updates as works progress.

18 February 2026Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre Renewal Projects – Surface Miner

A surface miner – a major piece of equipment – is being delivered to Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre to support excavation for the new bioreactor. It will be travelling overnight on 23 February and arrive on the 24th. This may cause traffic disruptions. Please follow any signs and directions.
