Project Background

Ginninderry have submitted the second Estate Development Plan (i.e., subdivision) Development Application (EDPDA) for Macnamara Neighbourhood 02, with lodgment in late 2023. To read more about this Development Application, please click here.

 To enable future development in the area, an associated Development Application referred to as ‘Offsite Works’ is being delivered as a part of the consultation process for the second Estate Development Plan in Macnamara.

Offsite Works

The Offsite works will address the road connection (and associated works) between Pro Hart Avenue and Parkwood Road.  

The offsite works will include the construction of a connection road between Pro Hart Avenue to Parkwood Road. This road connection will include associated landscaping, a pedestrian path, and a cycle path. Included in this works package is a shared path connection from Pro Hart Avenue to the suburb of MacGregor to enable a better connection into West Belconnen.   

A water main is included in this works package to service the Ginninderry Development, this water main will be built along the proposed road alignment and continue along Parkwood Road to O’Reilly Street MacGregor.
