The Ginninderry Regeneration Precinct is a science-backed transformation of 108 hectares in the heart of Ginninderry, safely turning a former Resource Management Centre into a vibrant hub of sport, learning, living and community. Ultimately, it has the potential to deliver significant and tangible benefits to Canberra’s social and economic fabric.

The Ginninderry Regeneration Precinct has been closed to non-green waste since 2020 and has now reached the end of its operational life. The Suburban Land Agency and the Ginninderry Joint Venture are working together to bring this vision to life, commencing with the construction of a southern pathway break and, thereafter, capping of the site.
