The Ginninderry Sponsorship Program encourages and supports the development of community and industry initiatives that align with the Ginninderry project objectives and the Community Development Strategy. Applications for our 2019/20 program are now open and our team are on the look out for opportunities to build capacity, encourage participation and support initiatives that promote partnerships and collaborations that strengthen our community and its assets.

Applications close 31 May 2019 – Successful applicants will be notified before 30 June 2019.

The objectives of our sponsorship program are:

• to contribute to and support the community in which we operate and to build social capital within the West Belconnen region;
• to encourage development of local sporting, arts and other community groups as a way of increasing social cohesion;
• to pursue opportunities for industry partnerships that will facilitate innovation; and
• to provide opportunities to achieve and highlight Ginninderry’s environmental and sustainability aims.

The current sponsorship round will consider opportunities that fall broadly under three key areas – community support and development, environment and sustainability and industry partnerships.
