Icon Water’s wastewater treatment plant has served Canberra’s needs for decades, but some of their assets are approaching end of life and elements of the treatment process are nearing capacity. Icon has a responsibility to protect the environment and continue providing high-quality wastewater services to the community. To do this Icon needs to upgrade, or replace, elements of their treatment process.

Their plans include two significant projects for the primary wastewater treatment plant, Lower Molonglo Water Quality Control Centre (LMWQCC). The first project is focused on their bioreactors and the other targets biosolids.
