Make Your Own Terrarium

  • This event has passed.

Join us for a hands-on terrarium workshop and discover the joy of creating your own miniature garden!

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to build and design your own terrarium using a variety of plants, soil, rocks, and decorative elements. Kat McGilp will guide you through the process step-by-step, providing tips and tricks for maintaining your terrarium and ensuring it thrives for years to come.

In this workshop, you will learn about the history of terrariums – terra meaning “earth” or “land”, and arium meaning “a place” or “contained within”.

All materials will be provided -with up cycled materials used wherever possible. You will take home your very own glass terrarium. Whether you’re a seasoned green thumb or a curious beginner, this workshop is perfect for anyone interested in plants and DIY projects.

Terrariums are a great way to bring a bit of nature into your house or workplace as decoration or as a lovely gift for someone.
