Ranger Guided Walk in the Conservation Corridor

Banner image for Guided Walks

Explore the beauty of the Ginninderry Conservation Corridor through our guided walks. Located in west Belconnen, the Ginninderry Conservation Corridor (known as “the Corridor”) offers stunning views of the Murrumbidgee River, Brindabella Mountains and the surrounding landscape. Led by our knowledgeable rangers, these walks offer a great opportunity to learn about the Corridor’s wildlife, ecosystems and the current on ground conservation efforts taking place.

Wildlife spotting is a key part of the experience, where you’ll have the chance to see some of the local bird, reptile and mammal species. The walks also highlight the current conservation projects underway to restore and create vital habitats. You’ll walk through a variety of ecosystems, including Box-gum Woodland and Natural Temperate Grasslands, with our newest walking tracks, the “River Descent Tracks,” offering views and a rest spot along the Murrumbidgee River. This family-friendly experience is perfect for bringing along children and family members! Please note though, these are moderate level walks along an earthen track. Australian Walking Track Grades 2 & 3. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for the conditions, and BYO water, hat, sunscreen and snacks.
