Keen to stay up to date with what’s happening in and around Canberra’s most sustainable community, Ginninderry, this September? We’ve got you covered.

Ginninderry comes alive this spring, with the much-anticipated annual Inspire Festival, showcasing local artists, evocative exhibitions, garden workshops and so much more. Make sure you put Saturday 7 September in the diary and then find room for all the other events we’ve collated for you!

Inspire Festival at Ginninderry

The annual Inspire Festival is a haven for creatives and innovative thinkers with a passion for sustainability in Canberra. On the first weekend of September, enjoy a unique selection of thought-provoking and locally-created art and handmade products as well as so much to see and do.

Kicking off on Friday 6 September with the Brindabella Sunset Session at Inspire, where you can enjoy live music, wander through Strathnairn Arts ‘Squares’ exhibition and enjoy a relaxing drink with a beautiful sunset over the Brindabellas as a backdrop.

Continuing on Saturday 7 September, head out for a solo date, grab your friends or take the family for an exciting day out. The little ones can get their hands dirty by taking part in a potting up workshop, play some games in the Secret Garden, or have their face painted like their favourite animal. Meanwhile, the young-at-heart can meet the local Strathnairn Arts artists and see their studios, enjoy live music or wander through the markets and enjoy a bite to eat.

Exciting guest speakers are yet to be revealed – so make sure you check in with the Ginninderry social pages to keep up-to-date.

Learn about the world we live in and challenge yourself to see a different perspective. Built to foster the relationship between our community and the environment, the Inspire Festival at Ginninderry will give you ways to incorporate sustainability into your everyday routine.
