Second release at Macnamara delivers more options for home buyers

A new release of land at Macnamara includes 117 blocks and more purchase options for buyers. The release, launched this morning, includes 51 blocks to be sold by ballot, 35 blocks for sale by auction, and 31 house and land packages available through Ginninderry’s Display Village builders.

Macnamara – the second suburb in the award-winning Ginninderry project – is located to the west of Strathnairn and bordered by a pristine conservation corridor with spectacular views of the Brindabella Mountains.

Head of Marketing and Communications Marcus Mills-Smith said the second release at Macnamara provides buyers with increased choice.

“This release follows the successful launch of Macnamara’s first release earlier this year and gives interested buyers three ways to become part of the community”

“We’ll have land available through our usual ballot process as well as a range of unique ‘Brindabella View’ blocks to be sold by auction”

“Our GX Display Village builders will also have a range of house and land packages on offer for buyers who are looking for a turnkey solution.”

Macnamara is the first Canberra suburb where all homes will meet a minimum 7 Star Energy Rating but Mills-Smith says that in addition to its sustainability credentials, its location sets it apart.

“Macnamara is located in an incredible position overlooking the Brindabellas and this release is in an area that takes full advantage of that with views that have to be seen to be appreciated”

Potential buyers will have that opportunity with Site Tours available over three weekends from 5 June.

“Once complete, Macnamara residents will also be able to take advantage of community food gardens, nearby dog parks, open spaces like Strathnairn’s Paddys Park and tracks in the Conservation Corridor”

“And, every home will be in easy walking distance from a bus stop while a connected network of pedestrian and cycling paths will provide access ways throughout Ginninderry and into broader Belconnen.”

Macnamara’s second release comprises 117 blocks ranging in size from 392sqm to 1,083sqm.

The 51 blocks offered by Ballot range in size from 420sqm to 693sqm and are priced from $547,200. Ballot registrations are now open and close at 5pm on 3 June 2022.

The 35 Brindabella View auction blocks range in size from 450sqm to 1083sqm. Auction registrations will open on 18 June with auctions commencing online from 2 July 2022.

All ballot and auction blocks include free front landscaping and construction waste management (conditions apply).
