Ginninderry registrations continue to grow after opening weekend

Registrations for Ginninderry’s first sales release are now in full swing after a big weekend of activity at our community sales and information sessions.

The public’s response to the release was overwhelmingly positive from the moment registrations opened at 9am on Saturday morning. Many interested buyers came through the doors at The Link across both days of the weekend – with the rain on Sunday not even keeping away future prospective members of the Ginninderry community!

And it wasn’t just those who came out to visit us at The Link who were busy registering their interest, with those who had done their research in advance, registering through our website.

Personally, it was great to have so many in-depth conversations with members of the community and answer their questions about Ginninderry.

A few common themes emerged throughout the day through people’s questions, including the size of the blocks of land going on sale, when land will be ready to build on and why our prices at Ginninderry our more competitive than all other recent land releases across the Territory.

We are offering land for between just $590 and $792 per square metre as part of ongoing commitment to housing affordability within the ACT.

And because we are not going to auction, which has had a trend recently of driving prices up by more than $100,000 per block, we will ensure that all levels of the market can buy at Ginninderry.

Standard residential blocks typically range from 300m2 to 550m2 in the first stage of development, whilst larger blocks up to 800 and 900m2 are intended to be located in later stages of the development adjoining the Murrumbidgee river corridor.

Currently we are expecting the majority of blocks released as part of stage 1 to be ready to build on between June and November 2018.

For those that were unable to make it out over the weekend, the good news is that registrations for blocks of land and our flexi-living series remain open for another 10 days, before they close on Friday 21 April at 4pm. You can register for the draw here.

The draw will then be held on Friday 28 April as part of our formal buying process.

We will be open over the Easter long weekend with the exception of Good Friday, so if you are staying around in Canberra make sure you come on by.

If you have any questions about our first release please feel free to contact me via sales@ginninderry.com or 1800 316 900.
