Christmas in the Park Returns to Ginninderry
Mark your calendars! On Saturday 13 December, Paddys Park transforms into a festive wonderland for our annual Christmas in the Park!
From 5 pm to 9 pm, join your neighbours for an evening of live music, carols, family activities, and of course, a special visit from Santa himself. It’s free, family-friendly, and the perfect way to celebrate the season with your community.
Whether you’ve been part of Ginninderry from the beginning or you’re new to the neighbourhood, this is your chance to connect with the people who make this community special.
What’s On
The evening kicks off with live music from talented local musicians. There will be plenty of opportunities for community carol singing too; whether you’re belting out the classics or humming along quietly, it’s all part of the fun and festive atmosphere.
The big moment every child waits for? Santa’s special visit! Bring the kids along to meet the man himself and share their Christmas wishes.
Throughout the evening, roving entertainers will bring smiles to all ages. From talented performers to engaging storytellers weaving Christmas tales, there’ll be surprises around every corner of the park.
The evening kicks off with an incredible line-up of local musicians and performers:
- 5:00 pm – Dan and Magnifique
- 6:00 pm – Maddy P
- 6:50 pm – Christmas Pantomime with Kippax Uniting Church
- 7:00 pm – Canberra Symphony Orchestra and Kingsford Smith School
- 8:00 pm – Special K
Feeling peckish? Local food vendors will be on hand offering everything from dinner options to sweet treats. It’s a perfect opportunity to support local businesses whilst treating yourself to something delicious.
