Project Background

Ginninderry have submitted the second Estate Development Plan (i.e., subdivision) Development Application (EDPDA) for Macnamara Neighbourhood 02, with lodgment in late 2023. To read more about this Development Application, please click here.

To enable future development in the area, an associated Development Application referred to as ‘Offsite Works’ is being delivered as a part of the consultation process for the second Estate Development Plan in Macnamara, which also includes the Parkwood Road connection.

Offsite Works

The Offsite works will address the Parkwood Road connection (and associated works), between Pro Hart Avenue and Parkwood Road.

The offsite works will include the construction of a connection road between Pro Hart Avenue to Parkwood Road which will improve local road access, enhance safety, and include landscaping and off-road pedestrian and cycle paths. Once completed, it will serve as Ginninderry’s second entry and exit point.

A water main is also included in this works package to service the Ginninderry Development, which will be built along the proposed road alignment and continue along Parkwood Road to O’Reilly Street MacGregor.

Frequently Asked Questions

The Parkwood Road Connection is a road infrastructure project connecting Parkwood Road and Pro Hart Avenue, with additional works such as landscaping, water main installation and off-road pathways.
