GX Artist Profile: Stephanie Corkhill-Hyles

Stephanie Corkhill-Hyles is a painter working from her studio in rural New South Wales. Since the opening of the GX Display Village she has continued working on her practice and held a solo exhibition at Texas Jane in Wagga Wagga in December 2019. COVID-19 has not slowed Stephanie down. As well as continuing to apply herself to producing her art, she has developed a website to sell her paintings; is working on a number of commissions; and is planning a solo exhibition for later this year. Stephanie’s vibrant and lively compositions demonstrate not only her ability as a painter but celebrate her subject-matter and the importance of painting in her everyday life.
