Ginninderry has been working on the Temporary Dog Park design since 2022. This is a temporary facility that will operate for approx. 3-5 years on the future Evo Energy Substation Block. The design of this facility was completed in Q2 2023 after community consultation and feedback, with construction anticipated to commence in Q3. The park is opening to the public towards the end of Q4 2023. The proposed temporary dog park will be fully fenced with separate small and large dog areas, seating and shade structures, drinking fountains for people and animals, bin and dog poo bag dispensers and a parking area with 22 car parks.
