A project, generations in the making…

The forebears of the Corkhill family have played a pivotal role in shaping the history of the Yass region. Like many first-generation settlers arriving in Australia between the 1830s and 1880s, they worked rural properties, taking up and cultivating their own land as opportunity arose.

To this day, the Corkhill family continues to pioneer new initiatives in the local community, most recently through their involvement in looking to establish the first cross-border development for NSW and the ACT.
