Following the high level of demand across the first five days of registrations at Ginninderry, an additional 23 blocks of land have been added as part of the first sales release at Strathnairn.
More than 550 combined registrations have been received for the 57 blocks of land and 17 flexi-living homes on offer as part of the first release, prompting the inclusion of the extra 23 blocks.
The additional blocks will be located in a slightly more elevated part of Canberra’s newest suburb, with block sizes ranging between 343m2 and 640m2 with an average block size of 461m2.
Prices for the additional blocks will start from just $254,000, ranging from just $623 to $752 per square metre.
Project Director Steve Harding said he hoped the decision would help meet some of the strong demand from the community.
“We believe that the strong demand for the first sales release at Strathnairn has been driven by our commitment to deliver product for all levels of the market,” Harding said. “This has seen some very competitive prices that the community has embraced.
“We are glad to be able to release the extra 23 blocks to alleviate some of the demand pressures.”
A draw will be conducted for both the blocks of land and flexi-living homes available as part of the first sales release.
Registrations are open until 4pm on Friday 21 April, before the draw is conducted on Friday 28 April.
The Ginninderry project is a joint venture between the ACT Government and Riverview Developments, with the first release now featuring 80 blocks of land, 17 flexi-living homes and a range of house-and-land packages.
