This exhibition is a retrospective of artworks by local regional artist Kim Shannon dating back to early works from 2007 with most recent work in 2019. It explores variations on interiors and still life in a captivating fusion of colour and movement.
About the artist
Kim Shannon began her art studies at the Julian Ashton Art School in Sydney (1970-71) followed by further study in photography (also in Sydney) and studies in London at the City and Guilds of London Art School (1979- 1982) and at the Royal Academy Schools, London (1982-1985). She has an extensive teaching career including a considerable period teaching in various NSW TAFE colleges from 1996 to 2012. She has held many solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions. She lives and works in Bowral in the NSW Southern Highlands.
