Strong interest in Strathnairn Stage 2 land ballot ahead of registrations closing this Sunday

Registrations for 122 residential blocks at Strathnairn will close this Sunday following a successful sales campaign which has seen significant interest from buyers looking to become part of the high-profile community in West Belconnen.

Ginninderry Project Director Steve Harding is encouraging those interested to secure a place in the ballot before registrations close this weekend.

“Registrations for the ballot will close at 5pm on Sunday so we are reminding anyone who hasn’t yet completed that part of the process to do so by then.”

Harding said interest in the ballot had exceeded expectations and demonstrated that the work his team are doing on building a genuinely sustainable, connected and future-proofed neighbourhood was resonating with Canberrans.

“After many years of planning, it is pleasing to see such a positive response from people looking to become part of the Ginninderry story and we look forward to working with our buyers to deliver on our vision.”

Blocks in stage two are located next to the Community Recreation Park with 2.7 hectares of open space including recreation areas, walking trails, modern playgrounds, BBQ spaces and an impressive amphitheatre.

The park will also boast mixed-use courts for basketball, netball and soccer along with cricket nets with those amenities further complimented by the existing natural conservation areas that are such a feature of the area.

Blocks offered in this ballot range between 250 and 810 square metres and are priced from $204,560 to $478,360. Ballot registrations close on Sunday at 5pm and the Ginninderry sales office will be open at The Link between 10am and 2pm Saturday and Sunday.
